Conservatories and sunrooms can be all glass, predominately glass, or partially glass. A well-designed sunroom is one in which the design-attributes are closely matched to your lifestyle. Considerations include your geographic location, the north-south-east-west orientation of your space, the availability of natural shading, the intended use of the space, the heating and air conditioning demands, as well as many additional factors. All Renaissance conservatories and sunrooms are made to order. Your conservatory can be as a simple as our Franklin Model or as ornate as a two-story, lantern-topped Orangerie; highly-embellished with intricate moldings and gingerbread.

Many of our conservatory and sunroom designs will take on a "hybrid" approach; where we combine high-performance glass elements (either vertical or sloped) with conventional non-glass building materials. With this approach you can enjoy the "look and feel" of an all-glass conservatory with the greater functionality and lower cost associated with mass-produced materials and conventional construction techniques. Renaissance Conservatories are crafted from hand-selected grades of mahogany, all-heart redwood, western red cedar and other premium woods. Vertical wall exterior finishes can be natural wood or low maintenance aluminum-cladding. For wood exteriors, renewable finishes include clear wood preservatives, low-hide stains, high-hide stains and colorful paints.

We build our sunrooms in a modern quality-controlled shop environment. Here, our talented mill workers will pre-assemble your conservatory in large manageable sections for direct delivery to your home on our own specially prepared delivery trucks. It takes approximately 10-12 weeks for us to manufacture, deliver and erect your conservatory. We have a full-time installation department who will professionally erect your sunroom or conservatory on your properly-prepared foundation. Our factory installation teams are apprentice-trained, fully-insured employees of Renaissance Conservatories. We never use sub-contractors.
